If you are new to golf and wondering if it may be the game for you, it can be a bit daunting knowing where and how to start. Here at Upavon, in association with England Golf, we run FREE taster sessions for women who would like to try golf for the first time.
We provide all the equipment and there is no need for you to do anything other than turn up wearing comfortable clothing and suitable footwear; we do the rest!

Each session is followed by light refreshments in the Clubhouse and the opportunity to chat to your fellow potential golfers and Upavon coaches.
Beginners Group Lessons
Golf is a great way to bring people together with a superb combination of personal challenges, social elements, exercise and friendly competition.
Group Lessons for Beginners are the best way to build confidence and improve your appreciation of the game. Lessons are on Saturday afternoons starting throughout the year and run for six weeks.
Upavon’s Teaching Professionals structure each 1 hour lesson to focus on a different element of the game including introductions to putting and the short game, bunker play and swing development with the series culminating in playing 3 holes on the course.
